A Personal Story
Forty years ago, my lovely wife, now deceased, and that I, took in our initial foreign-exchange student. A super man two, but accomplished in lots of ways.
We had seven of their own kids at the moment, and yet another was just fun. Josep fit in.
It was magical. He moved home telling his people of his time .
The next year, his parents called and asked if we'd take their oldest daughter to the summer.
The summertime exchange extended into a college year. At exactly the same time, the Cors family took for a school year in our son.
The exchange procedure had begun. Before it was over kids went forth and back, year after year.
All grown up today, all these kids have stayed in touch, attending each other's important social occasions, marriages, etc., and monitoring
their children with each other's families. At this time, the Cor's grandkids have exchanged together with my older kids,
and seventeen of my grandchildren have lived together with the Cors' kids which were once our exchange students.
